When the government invests in HMRC it can recover huge sums of money, essential for public investment for our shared national benefit.  Cracking down on tax dodging by tightening up on existing rules is critical, but introducing further measures on how much tax the wealthiest of us pay is a vital additional step. Any political party serious about delivering a more equitable society and raising revenue to make our country stronger should be introducing higher taxes on the super rich. It's that simple."
