Millionaires urge MPs “tax us, the super-rich” to avoid cuts and invest in Britain

Patriotic Millionaires UK took our "Tax Our Wealth" campaign to the streets of London ahead of the Government’s Spring Statement, calling for a 2% tax on wealth over £10 million—raising £460 million a week to invest in the country’s struggling public services. Our nationwide tour visited major cities before bringing the message straight to Westminster.

With seven in ten UK millionaires supporting higher taxes on the super-rich, they urged the Government to choose investment over cuts and ensure the wealthiest paid their fair share. Backed by Tax Justice UK, they argued that taxing extreme wealth was the key to a fairer, stronger Britain.
